Matthew 10:16 “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.“
Mission: Did you know that Old Testament Jerusalem utilized twelve Gates into the City? In Nehemiah Chapter 3, ten of these Gates are mentioned. Each Gate is significant with purpose, and with preeminence. The Sheep Gate represents salvation, or a type of the cross, and Saving Grace through the sacrifice of God’s Lamb. Without God’s sacrificed Lamb, there is no salvation, no forgiveness, and no remission of our sins.
When you think of the Sheep Gate at Jerusalem, consider that it was the entrance to the Sheep Market, by which was the Pool of Bethesda. A place of healing Grace! A place where miracles transformed lives! And interesting to note that the Sheep Gate is the only Gate into Jerusalem which did not have a lock! God’s Lamb, the perfect sacrifice, is available to all!
At Sheep Gate Publishing, our desire is to assist our clients with presenting the Gospel of God’s Saving Grace thru King James Biblical reference guides (like the free “Where to look in the Bible when…” you receive free for subscribing), and Christian entertainment publications with Promotional digital magazines for Clean, Wholesome, and Christian ebooks, paperbacks, audiobooks, and more.
